You may have seen me cruising through a crowd at an event or concert, but probably not. I have a background in candid street photography and it shows, or rather it does not. I am discrete, and effective at capturing the moments and energy of the subjects I shoot. The challenge is to feel the emotions of the music and the performance while staying focused and keeping my eye to the viewfinder. My goal is to visually express the energy of the shows I’m at. Sometimes its whimsical and dreamy, and other times its brutal and violent. I’m not just concerned with how the music sounds, but also the state of mind the audience and I are immersed into. Just play, have fun, scream, and jump, do what you do. I’ll make it into a series of images you won’t easily forget.
